Frontier Crew Cab

Nissan Frontier Crew Cab

Frontier gets motivated with a 24-valve, 4.0-liter V6. The engine is made out of a lightweight aluminum engine block backed by a massive 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of unrelenting torque that translates into brute strength. And that’s exactly what gives Frontier the ability to easily tow your ski boat or a trailer full of quads. Frontier delivers the perfect combination of efficiency and power. Power, control, and fuel efficiency are in the palm of your hand with Frontier's 6-speed manual transmission.

Frontier's brakes are designed to keep you safe as well as maximize performance. The 11.7" front vented disc and 11.3" rear vented disc brakes provide maximum contact area for rapid heat dissipation, long-lasting durability and confident towing. Frontier's heavy-duty double-wishbone suspension with front stabilizer bar is rugged and tough. It's built to give you confidence during off-road handling. When starting on steep hills from a stop, hill start assist will help keep you from rolling backwards. It holds brake pressure for a few seconds, allowing you enough time to switch from the brake pedal to the accelerator. Conversely, when driving down a steep grade in 4WD and engine braking isn’t enough, hill descent control can help. Just flip the switch, ease your foot from the accelerator, and this system automatically maintains speed and brake pressure to help provide a controlled descent.

Frontier features Zone Body Construction with front and rear crumple zones and steel side-door guard beams. A reinforced steel-frame structure helps maintain the integrity of the passenger compartment, while crumple zones absorb crash energy. TPMS monitors tires for low inflation pressure, which can shorten tire life and reduce the load-carrying capabilities of the vehicle. LATCH is another way we’re working to keep children safe. The Frontier's LATCH system lets you secure LATCH-compatible child restraints in the second row without having to use seat belts or a locking clip. Standard on all models is a 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) plus Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) that senses additional weight, whether it’s a full cargo bed or a full tank of gas, and sends extra force to the rear brakes.
